Group day habilitation opens the door for clients to engage with the community in fun and meaningful ways, whether it’s learning to use public transportation, going grocery shopping, staying active at the gym, or building friendships with peers. The program offers a well-rounded mix of work, play, and recreational opportunities to support personal growth and independence. Examples of this could be:
- Learning to shop for personal items
- Personal banking
- Street crossing safety
- Public transportation travel
- Dining in public
