Helping in big ways and small
Children with disabilities often face unique and ongoing challenges that require extra support to fully engage in everyday life. These challenges can range from physical limitations to developmental delays, and without proper assistance, they may struggle to participate in essential daily activities. Similarly, many older adults live with chronic conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia. These conditions can bring about sudden or progressive changes in physical and cognitive function, significantly affecting their independence, confidence, and overall quality of life.
At Easterseals Alaska, our goal is to help individuals continue living independently and safely in the comfort of their chosen home, with dignity and respect. Our Personal Care Attendant (PCA) services offer one-on-one, in-home support tailored to each individual’s specific needs, including:
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, and more)
Easterseals Alaska is here to ensure your loved ones receive the compassionate, respectful care they deserve.
Referrals from the Alaska Aging & Disability Resource Center are accepted.
Children receiving personal care services must be over six years of age.
