DSP/Caregiver Training Library

This resource page, developed for Easterseals Alaska staff members, is designed to help train Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and caregivers.

Welcome to the Easterseals Alaska Direct Support Professional Training portal. We have established a competency-based training program that is mandatory for all direct support staff (and administrators who provide direct support) who work with our clients. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) Training is based upon core competencies or skills necessary for satisfactory job performance. The training and tests are offered at no charge. Please choose from one of the options below.

New Employees: All trainings are required

Existing Employees: Please only complete the training you’ve been specifically notified to take. If you're not sure which training is required, please contact the main office at 907-277-7325 for assistance. Note: You will only be paid for training that is currently due to expire.
