My name is Emily Vogel, and I'm the Office Manager at Easterseals Alaska. While I’m new to this position, I bring many years of experience from other jobs that I've performed, and I'm excited to wear the multitude of hats this role requires. In addition to being the first face people see when they walk through our doors, I’m responsible for onboarding new DSPs and making sure they have the information they need to support our clients successfully.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Aviation with a minor in Electrical Engineering Technology from LeTourneau University. Before working at Easterseals, I worked in the IT industry as well as in the front office and special education department at a high school. I love helping people, so one of my favorite elements in this position is figuring out a way to help someone else have a better day. It’s incredibly rewarding to work for an organization that shares that same objective.
I live in Alaska with my handsome husband and have raised four amazing, almost-adult humans whom I love dearly. Alaska has been my home for over 20 years, and I still find myself in awe of its beauty. I happily spend my days away from work walking my dogs, shooting photographs, and giving my best effort to avoid getting eaten by too many mosquitoes.
