As a member of the Board of Directors for Easterseals Alaska, I offer guidance and support to ensure the organization continues to provide vital services to individuals and families across the state. My responsibilities include strategic planning, oversight, and advocacy for programs that promote independence, wellness, and inclusion.
The most important aspect of my role is helping Easterseals maintain a holistic approach to care, one that recognizes the connection between physical, emotional, and social well-being. This aligns closely with my own values and professional philosophy as a chiropractor, where I focus on supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and thrive.
I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. With decades of experience in health and wellness, I bring a deep understanding of preventive care, nutrition, and integrated therapies to my role with Easterseals.
I share Easterseals’ commitment to empowering individuals of all abilities. We both believe in treating the whole person, offering compassionate support, and fostering resilience and independence at every stage of life.
My wife, Bev, and I have lived in Alaska for many years. Together, we raised a blended family of five children and are now proud grandparents. We enjoy spending time with our growing family, and in quieter moments, we often play cribbage together. I stay active with regular workouts and am passionate about healthy living, always seeking natural and sustainable ways to support physical and mental wellness.
