My name is Carmelita Zygmunt, and I am the Program Coordinator/Scheduler. I am responsible for all scheduling of staff for all clients in both Waiver, PCA, and VA programs. I go to extraordinary efforts to match staff and clients to build long-lasting, healthy relationships. I participate in Job Fairs, virtual & face-to-face, always looking to add positive people to our Easterseals employee family.
I began my employment with Easterseals Alaska in January 2020. Prior to Easterseals, I was a Direct Support Provider and Case Manager for Community Living Services and Residential Living Services at The Arc of Anchorage. During my 14-year tenure, I learned so much and grew in my profession. This experience and knowledge are such an asset in my current position. I love the values that Easterseals holds dear.
I’ve always believed that charity begins at home. I love helping people, and I joined Easterseals to explore and extend my potential to help people who experience a disability, seniors, and Veterans. disabilities.
I am a proud native of the Philippines and moved to Alaska in January 2002. I love helping people and traveling to different countries. I am bilingual in Filipino and English.
